Summer Art Camp

The ARTogether & CERI Youth Summer Art Camp brings art and creativity to youth in the Bay Area. For kids who have been stuck inside, our camp provides children with the perfect space to express themselves with art, releasing the pent-up energy with some much-needed fun! The camp serves kids between the ages of 7 to 14, with programs focused on children from refugee and immigrant communities. Split into two groups, separately for ages 7–10 and 11–14, the camp brings a mix of art, education, and therapeutic exercises through free form expressive activities. From hand washing paint activities to time capsules to making slime, we’ll provide a space for kids to be kids. Register below!

Olivia Baker
Hi, I’m Olivia! I’m a sophomore studying Psychology and Social Work at the University of Vermont. I was born and raised in Oakland, CA. I’ve been working with kids since the age of 9, and I have experience with being a camp counselor, babysitting, tutoring, and outreach work. I have worked at three different camps, and three after school programs. I have experience working with kids with learning differences. I am very passionate about social justice issues, and have also been practicing social justice work since a very young age. I am very excited to meet all of your kids! One fun fact about me is that I’ve dyed my hair 28 times! (It’s blue right now!)

Avrah Ross
Hi!! My name is Avrah Ross and I go to Bates College in Maine where I study Environmental Science and Public Health. I am super excited to be a counselor because I really want to connect with local kids, talk about important topics within our current political climate and world, and help in developing a community during this difficult time. I have worked at a sleepaway camp in Southern California for two years, and love working with kids in many different capacities. A fun fact about me is that I used to have 14 chickens and 2 rats, so I also really love animals! I am so excited to meet all of the campers soon!

Mark Storm
Heyo, my name is Mark and I go to New York University. I am on the road to major in neuroscience, but I also am a huge music nerd. I was strongly impacted by the counselors I had when I attended summer camps as a kid, and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to be the same type of leader at Camp Baker! A fun fact about me is that I am a licensed paraglider, so you can say i’m a pretty fly guy :o. I can’t wait to meet you all!
