Film Synopsis and Artist Bios: She’s Doing Well (a short film)
A story about an Eritrean Immigrant woman who’s facing so many challenges and obstacles here in the US, but her family and relatives who are living in her country and other African countries think that she’s doing well because she’s living in the west, and they all ask her to send them money. The story also narrates the burden that Eritrean women must help their families back home and the wrong image of western countries in Africa.
