Calling all High School Creatives!
Are you interested in the arts, animation, and storytelling? ARTogether is launching “Shadow Movements,” a new youth arts program, and we’re seeking an Arts Storytelling Intern for this spring.
About Us:
ARTogether specializes in connecting communities through creative programming for refugees and immigrants. We are looking for an Arts Storytelling Intern interested in joining our creative community.
Your Role:
- Join our Animation Arts Program and learn about storytelling, shadow puppetry, and animation.
- Create interesting ways to tell stories about our program and our community.
- Collaborate with youth artists, our program manager, and communications director to transform real-life program stories into narratives.
- Make different types of content, like articles, blog posts, social media updates, photos, and maybe even short videos and interviews.
- Bring creative ideas and try new storytelling techniques.
Who We’re Looking For:
- High School Students with interest in the arts, particularly filmmaking.
- Participants from Immigrant/Newcomer/Refugee backgrounds or children of Immigrants/Newcomers/Refugees
- Someone interested in leadership, telling stories, documenting events, and communicating
- Someone who wants to learn about video production, writing, photography, or social media content creation.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.

Are you a high schooler from an immigrant background who loves art, animation, and wants to learn how arts organizations work? Join us as an Arts Program Intern at ARTogether!
About ARTogether:
We at ARTogether are dedicated to creating inclusive spaces through the power of art, specifically for refugees and immigrants. We’re excited to offer an internship where you can learn about arts program management, join a fun animation program, and help plan a public arts event!
What You’ll Do:
- Join our Animation Arts Program to learn about animation.
- Help with the day-to-day work of the program, like planning and making sure everyone has a great time.
- Work with ARTogether staff to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Talk to people and tell them about our Animation Arts Program to get more people involved.
- Help plan a public arts event happening in the fall after the spring program.
We’re Looking For Students Who:
- Are currently in high school.
- Come from immigrant, newcomer, refugee backgrounds, or are children of immigrants/refugees/newcomers
- Love the arts, especially animation and filmmaking.
- Interested in being a leader
- If community and connecting with people is important to you
