Gather In Art and Craft Community Night

 

Join us for our monthly Art and Craft Night, featuring one of our artists-in-residence, Aylin Ayee!

Aylin will be hosting Rewalking Memory Paths, a community creative space where people reflect on meaningful memories, reconnect with themselves, and leave gentle reminders for others through writing, drawing, and shared experiences.

Please arrive by 5:15 PM for Aylin’s opening talk and demo!

ARTogether will provide all necessary materials, along with our usual art supplies, if you’d prefer to play in a different medium. Feel free to bring your own creative project that you’d like to work on while in community.

Gather In: Art and Craft Community Nights are casual, drop-in, creative hangouts that take place every 2nd Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM. Bring your friends to a future event!

Mark your calendar for every second Wednesday of the month! We will be hosting a casual arts and crafts night, with new hours 5-8 pm.  Drop-in and hangout with us, and don’t forget to invite your friends !

Featured Artist: Aylin Ayee

Aye Myat Thu (Aylin) is a multidisciplinary illustrator and community-centered artist from Myanmar, now based in the Bay Area. Her work explores healing, belonging, and everyday life through illustration, comics, and participatory art. She creates visual storytelling projects, creative learning tools, and workshops that invite reflection and emotional connection. During the Myanmar crisis, she launched free online drawing classes and later developed a beginner course that reached over 1,600 students. Her practice sits at the intersection of art, education, and wellbeing, aiming to create gentle spaces where creativity becomes a tool for connection and resilience.
